Adult Migrant Education Service Western Australia (AMES WA)
AMES WA has been a centre of excellence for the delivery of English language courses to students of diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds since 1947. AMES is the largest provider delivering the AMEP for the Department of Immigration and Citizenship (DIAC).
Students can learn English in many ways:
- Full-time and part-time classes
- Day and evening classes
- At home through Distance Learning
- At home through the Home Tutor Scheme
- Independent study in the Independent Learning Centre
- Individual study programs
- Special focus classes
AMES WA has four main learning centres, with classes in many suburbs and country areas.
