Art, Fashion and Multimedia

If you think creatively and want to work in areas that value this and the desire not to conform, there are many ways to forge a career in Art, Fashion and Multimedia.

Visual Arts in Australia is thriving as the economy booms and governments, businesses and private individuals indulge their desires for aesthetically pleasing objects in their surroundings.  Qualifications in these areas will add much to your career prospects, not just in skills and grounding in theory, also in confidence and respect from employers, clients and funding bodies.

Ruth Tarvydas, Rebecca Patterson, Ray Costarella and Ericaamerica… they all started where you are, with dreams and drive. They made it happen with hard work, commitment and an excellent grounding in clothes design and production.  Western Australia has never had more young, edgy designers making names for themselves world-wide.  Swan TAFE lecturers have experience in design, couture and product development. You will learn your craft from experts.

Multimedia offers many jobs with small and large organisations and the chance to set up your own business contracting your services to clients around Australia and the world.

Courses in Art, Fashion and  and Multimedia are delivered at Armadale, Bentley, Midland and Thornlie campuses.
